Does Your Church Support Lighthouse Mission?
As a Christ-centered ministry, Lighthouse Mission does not receive significant support from local government offices. MOST of our support comes from local individuals, businesses, and churches who want to partner with us to share the Good News of Jesus RIGHT HERE on Long Island.

Sustaining support from local churches that have adopted Lighthouse Mission as an official Supported Missionary Group are a special blessing to us. In fact, 20% of Lighthouse Mission's funding comes through regular offerings from supporting churches.
Churches that have chosen to partner with Lighthouse Mission on an on-going basis have helped us serve the poor by collecting monthly offerings to help meet our outreach expenses, collecting donations of food and clothing for those in need, and committing to pray for our ministry. Some churches have also helped us meet special needs in the community outside of our regular programs. Others have scheduled regular volunteer opportunities for small groups to help at our Food Distributions and Youth Development Programs. (A list of supporting churches is available upon request)

Lighthouse Mission would be honored to be considered an officially Supported Mission Group by your church. If your church has helped Lighthouse Mission in the past, please consider asking your pastor, elders, or mission board if Lighthouse Mission is regularly supported. If your church doesn't support Lighthouse Mission, please let them know about the work that we do and how your church can get involved!
